Just the other day I happen to come across the quote above and it really touched me. It is not that I didn’t know that outer appearance was a result of what was going on inside, but I forget sometime to focus on the inside. When I first went raw I went because I was so sick I didn’t think there was much left to live for because I could hardly breathe. What I didn’t know was that not only was I in need of a change in diet, I was in need of some serious work on the inside.

Rawsome is a wonderful raw food book and different then most of the raw food books on the market. What makes this book stand out is the wonderful raw food encyclopedia that is contains. This book really goes into detail about the nutritional and healing properties of fruit and vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds. Most raw food books don’t cover the nutritional value that Brigitte covers in Rawsome.
