Happy Memorial Day!!

May 26th, 2008 by Tanisha

For me this day use to mean barbecuing and eating tons of meat and greasy food and yes it was good, but today I did something different, I had a wonderful raw soup, cherries, and a lovely green juice.

For a moment I thought about how nice it was to eat the cooked food and enjoy time eating with the family but I’d rather just spend time and eat healthier food that make me feel good. That sounds weird coming from me but I just don’t feel good when I eat cooked food it’s torture it’s painful and I am serious it is painful for me. My left side starts to hurt and several other places.

One piece of advice I can give you is that if your body is giving you a sign that something is wrong be it pain, gas, and so fourth, don’t ignore it, investigate the problem and try to removed the culprit as it will only make things worth. Stressing the body will only bring about disease so please do yourself a favor try to not cause your body any more stress then is needed.

Well I’ve been working hard on getting my website tanishamarshall.com up, right now it is being forwarded to my Teacher web page on Alissa Cohen’s website but that will change shortly so stay tuned.

I hope that each and everyone of you were able to maintain your eating goals, these are the times when we need a group of raw friends to hang with for support.
