Do you listen to your instincts?

May 21st, 2008 by Tanisha

I think far to many of us listen to what other people are saying and forget about the valuable information that comes from within. Our body and our mind gives us clues but not many of us listen to it. When my left side use to hurt constantly I would just think oh it’s nothing to worry about until the rest of my health started going down the drain.

Just ignoring that small pain turned into a bigger pain, I didn’t listen. Also when we do listen, what do we do, we go to the doctor we try to find out what it is? I went just like most of you would and they could not find anything wrong, and I lived in pain until I found raw. I believe that the longer we are raw the more in tune will be become with our bodies.

I Believe we should have always been in tune with our body but we lost it when we tried to develop our own methods in how we create and grow our foods.

From this point forward my goal is to become more and more in tune with my body. I plan to listen to my body, for example when I eat a lot of nuts, I don’t feel as good but sometimes I still do it, that is going against myself and my body and it is not healthy. We need to learn how to walk in the same direction as our bodies want us to. We have to learn what works for OUR BODY. Most of us still have a ton of SAD Junk stuck inside of us so we have a lot of work to do but it can be done.

I believe that following our instincts is so important to our mind, body and soul. Join me, and start listening to your body. I believe we can all heal our bodies if we listen and respect it.

Thanks,
Tanisha
