Quick Hello

March 21st, 2008 by Tanisha

I just thought I would say hello. I have so much on my mind I can’t wait to share. All that I can say right now is don’t stress so much over being 100% raw make a gradual change, I believe that as you include more raw foods your body will not crave or want the cooked foods you use to eat. Now there are some people who are extremist and can’t do both then I say do what works best for you, I totally believe in finding out what works best for the individual. I don’t believe there is one right way to do something but I believe we can all find a way that works for us.

Just know that anything that I write here could be used as a guide to finding out what works for you.

I know that during my transition every-time I tried to say I am 100% I failed every-time. The only time I didn’t fail is when I said it’s OK if I mess up and for some reason it’s like tricking the mind into thinking it is OK and all of a sudden you don’t even want what you thought you wanted anymore.

On another note. A month or so back a friend of mine from my raw food meet-up group, loaned me a book called survival in the 21st century. That book is amazing. It talked about how our food supply could become non-existent and I have to say I can see how it can become that way. What we see or know as food today is nutritionally dense, the food that does provide life to our bodies are constantly being sprayed and grown with pesticides and wax and all kinds of stuff. They are even trying to make it mandatory that our greens (Organic)be sprayed with pesticides. These pesticides are capable of killing some of the nutrition in our foods as well as stopping the plant from maturing. It is so important to know and understand the crisis that we are in and that the nutrition we need might become depleted. Now is the time to learn how to survive  in the 21st Century. Check out this book if you would like to know more. I am in no way connected with the Author but his work is brillant and the fact that he wrote this book back in 1970s really does amaze me at how true and correct he is. By the way his name is Victorus Kulvinkus(I might have spelled that wrong but if you type in the book in google or amazon.com you’ll find it)
