I have been so busy
Last weekend was a very busy weekend. The raw food tasting at Common Ground was great. I made two desserts, the pecan walnuty fudge balls and Almond butter balls. I stayed at the store for about 2 hours, I would have stayed longer but I had some other things to do right after.
While there I met a lot of people and I learned something. I learned that you really have to meet people where they are. Meaning you can’t tell someone to stop eating meat, but you can encourage them to eat more raw foods. I think sometimes raw foodist say you have to be 100 percent and just by saying that a lot of people lose interest. I believe that if you can encourage someone to eat more raw foods eventually they will naturally go towards eating more on there own, but that really depends on where they are in there journey with food. I think eating a high raw diet is better then eating a HIGH SAD any day.
I hope that I can help and encourage people no matter where they are in there journey even if they can’t imagine going totally raw, I can teach them the basics.
I think it is more important to plant the seed so that if they need it later on in life they will know how to cultivate it.
Have a good night,
Tanisha
