Fear / Faith

February 7th, 2008 by Tanisha

Hello,

I have been so busy, there is so much going on. I’m trying to get ready for my raw food classes and finish up my web hosting website and Raw Food Teacher website. Websites take a lot of work. I am also switching billing systems so that in itself is a job.

Faith

Today I came across a book that I’ve had in my book shelf for a while. I had skipped to a section of the book that talked about Fear and Faith. According to the author you can’t have both, you can only possess one or the other.

Most of my life I lived in fear of everything, in fear of failing, in fear of the dark, in fear of hurting peoples feelings and so much more. All of this fear caused a lot of pain and anxiety for me which didn’t do much for my health I’m sure of it. I noticed that since going raw, my level of fear has went down dramatically. I would like to think that the food was the reason for the switch in my character because before raw food I could not imagine teaching raw food classes, but now I want to and I can’t wait to have my first class. Food my not be the reason for your fear though, maybe you have some other addiction holding you back, alcohol, drugs, etc… I believe that removing our addictions will uncover and help to remove these fears, but I also believe having the right diet will accelerate healing in our bodies.

Living in fear will only hold us back from what we need to do in life, it will only hinder our journey in this life. If you have a passion or if there is something you want to do in your life you have to face your fears. Luckily for me just by simply changing my diet, I was able to release the fear in my life to some extent(I still have some work to do) but I am well on my way to achieving my goals, my passion and that is to teach raw foods.

Don’t allow fear and doubt to hold you down, you can be or do anything you want, but most importantly faith is needed to do these things. If you are struggling, or constantly doubting yourself you may not get far, but if you have faith and you persevere you will make it. We only struggle because we don’t have enough faith to believe we can do better.

Grab some faith and get passionate about your goals in life, that is what I am trying to do. I am tired of just being the average American, I want to make a difference in people’s lives and I believe that I will.
