Hello my friends, I came across an interesting article today, it talked about how the FDA has approved cloned meat for human consumption, I really believe this is the worst decision they could ever make, we already have enough illnesses from the foods we eat that have antibotics and hormones, why would we want something that isn’t even real or natural? I know that non-organic meat isn’t natural after the addition of hormones and antibotics but cloned meat? You may wonder why am I concerned if I don’t eat meat. I’m concerned because I know and love people who still partake in the Standard American Diet, I love them and although I can’t change them, this is one more thing to bring about sickness. We’ve gotten ourselves into the cooked addiction now they are laying it on deeper and deeper, what will be next.

I ate the standard American Diet for 26 years of my life, I can definitely say it’s addicting especially the fast foods. I hope that we as Americans start paying attention and caring about ourselves and what we are feeding our bodies.

You know what I find funny, I find that the people whom I thought would understand me, my church family, relatives and so fourth are the ones that won’t even respond when I talk about food, I guess they get offended, not sure. Even if I’m just talking about me and not imposing my eating on them it’s a topic to not be discussed. We are defensive about our foods, we simply enjoy the pleasures of foods even if it means we have to take medicine to keep eating them, so that we can control the sicknesses we gained from eating the cooked foods.

On another note I’m doing good today, loving raw, yes I am. Currently I am growing wheat grass using a wet paper towel, and it’s working beautifully, I do plan to purchase soil but so far I have not had an easy time finding it locally, but I will keep on looking. I know I can buy the soil online but I was told the shipping would outweigh the benefits of getting it online.

I do work full time and will share the raw food lifestyle on a part time basis. tomorrow I have a meeting with a natural food store in Bloomington Normal we will discuss the possibility of me doing some raw food demos, I’m super excited, I will be taking a raw chocolate cake and almond butter balls, which I’m sure they will love. Wish me luck.

Have a good night,
Tanisha
